14th - 15th November – CandiTV's/Marshalls Pasta girl Hannah Barnes had a fantastic weekend. She won both the DHL Future Stars 6 Lap Dash & the DHL Future Stars Points Race at Revolution 25, Manchester Velodrome on Saturday. Sunday saw her victorious in the Cyclo-Cross National Trophy (round 4) & is the current series leader. | |

5th November – Cyclevox - the media & sponsorship consultancy has annouced the airing times of it's latest documentary following CandiTV/Marshalls RT throughout 2009. The film will be shown on British Eurosport 1 & 2 on the 21st November & repeated over the following days. The full press release can be viewed here. 2nd November – Our very own 'Fonzy' will be appearing on the Gadget Show along with his friend Otis in the very near future. Russ uses all his skill & speed against the presenter racing on a bike equipped with all the latest technology. We're not allowed to reveal the result so you'll just have to watch the show that will be aired on the 16th November. |

30th September - 4th October – Straight from the Tour of Britain, team mates Pete Williams & James Sampson jetted off to Tobago as part of a seletion of international riders assembled to challenge the Caribbean's finest for $12,000. Pete took the yellow jersey after breaking free in stage 4 & along with Sampson & Emile Abrahams he worked tirelessly of the mountain passes to become 'King of Tobago'. | |

23rd - 27th September Russ, selected as part of team GB for the Worlds spoke to British Cycling's Larry Hickmott about his role: "It was very tough out there which we knew it would be. My job was to look after Dave (Millar) and I did that. I went back to the car & got him a musette before the climb, he crashed at the top, we went back & got him but I never got back on after that & the race was on. 20th September – The Final leg of the Elite Circuit Race Series was won by CandiTV's own Mr Briggs. Fresh from Tour of Britain Briggs was race fit & ready for a challenge & as a result spent all but four laps of the 900 metre circuit out in front. Briggs also won both sprints. | |

| 19th September 2009 – A fine finish to a great tour with Russell Downing finishing 6th, Peter Williams 8th & Malcolm Elliott 9th. CandiTV/Marshall's Pasta RT were the team of the day with Russell 5th overall, the highest placed British rider. He was also third in the points competition. | |||

18th September 2009 – In two out of the 3 sprints today Russ took 3 rd place gaining a second on his overall time for each! He eventually took 12 th overall for the stage. The tour looks like it’s going down to the wire with only 46 seconds separating the top 12 riders. 17th September 2009 - It was an early break for 'Fonzy' in today's stage (6), Frome to Bideford, of the Tour of Britain. It was 3 climbs later with only 5 kilometres to go before he was eventually caught. Russell finished 3rd with Columbia's Boasson Hagen proving ever invincible winning again. 'Fonzy' moves back up to 5th overall with team mate Malcolm Elliott in 16th. |

21st - 23rd August 2009 - The team have already started their journey towards the start of the 2009 Tour of Ireland. This years race features some top class competition. Russ, Malc & the boys will be racing against Tour de France legend Lance Armstrong (Astana), 10 times Tour de France Stage winner Mark Cavendish (Columbia HTC) & last years's winner Marco Pinotti (Columbia HTC). This years race starts Friday at the Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt after a a tribute at 10am to Irish rider Paul Healion who was tragically killed in a road trafic accident last weekend. Paul would have ridden for the Irish team, he will not be replaced. The official line-up for the 2009 CandiTV/Marshalls Pasta Road Team are:

16th August 2009 - It was a blustery Sunday morning start in Netherwiton, Northumberland for the Candi TV/Marshalls Pasta boys. The race, run over 85 miles, took off at a fast pace considering the conditions. The Candi boys led almost from the start but James Moss almost prevented a Candi TV whitewash hard on the heels of Graham Briggs. Russ wins by 40 seconds in Tour of Pendle!

9th August 2009 - The leader of this year's British Cycling Premier Calendar, Russell Downing of the CandiTV/Marshalls Pasta team has won the Tour of Pendle on his own, 40 seconds clear of Olympic Bronze medallist Chris Newton and Welsh champion Rob Partridge

Malcolm 3rd in Blackpool Nocturne!

1st August 2009 - Olympic Gold medallist Ed Clancy was the winner of the final round of the Nocturne series held in Blackpool on Saturday evening in front of a large crowd. After an attacking race, Ed Clancy used that track speed of his to good effect to beat Dean Downing and Malcolm Elliott to take the winners prize home with him.

Russ - National Circuit Race Champion 2009!

24th July 2009 - On a wet and slippery circuit in Beverley (East Yorkshire), in front of a huge crowd, Russell Downing showed who’s the daddy in the sprint department when he defeated well known sprinters Jeremy Hunt, Rob Hayles, his defending champion brother Dean and Malcolm Elliott to win the 2009 British Circuit Race Championship. Malcolm Elliott had a fantastic race, eventually finishing 5th after many laps in the lead despite the wet conditions.
